HOW MANY SESSION DOES A HARDSHIP EVALUATION REQUIRE?

A full hardship evaluation will require between two and four appointments. The number of visits depends on the complexity of your case. The fee for an evaluation is always the same regardless of how many sessions (2-4) you have.

WHY DO I NEED TO HAVE AN EVALUATION?

The evaluation sessions are  a way for your clinician to measure the emotional/psychological impact that a forced separation would place on you and your family. By measuring your levels of stress and emotional hardship

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO SHARE?

Your clinician will likely ask you questions about your current life together as a family, what brings you happiness and balance, and what kind of stressors you are facing. Your clinician may also ask questions about your past and your childhood.
